What is the funniest thing you have ever seen? I made my friend laugh so hard that he spat the muffin he was eating directly into another child's mouth. This child was portly with a squeaky voice and cried out in panic, "You got it all over me! You even got it in my mouth!" It was a bran muffin. Now that I recall the situation it was really more sad than funny. 2. Do you have any superstitious rituals that you follow prior to performing? First I find a golden egg lain only by a golden goose. I proceed to rub the egg 8.5 times with my left index finger, and then again with my right. When this task has been completed I spread a blanket made of patches on a hardwood floor and skip across it in a hop-scotch fashion. Next I make some hot oolong tea and pour it on a sleeping baby. On my way to the theater I drop a dime (no more, no less) into a beggar's hat. This process really helps put my game face on. 3. What is the funniest thing that has ever happened to you? I sauntered up to Eugene Mirman last year at SF Sketchfest drunk as a daisy. I slung my arm around his waist, pointed at him and said "Eugene, right? Great show," and walked away. He has no idea who I am. 4. What inspired you to do comedy? Alright there's no point in denying it anymore. Lucille Ball. 5. What is your perfect day like? A day when I can afford more than the dollar menu is a pretty good one. 6. What is your favorite place to perform? Right now there's an awesome venue called "The Talk Show" at the Hyperion Tavern in Silverlake. The space is like a study hall converted into a bar and you never know what the hell you're going to watch. I always have a lot of fun with the audience there. 7. Who would you most like to perform with and why? I have an unbelievable comedy crush on Amy Sedaris. I relate to her. 8. What is your favorite art besides comedy? I've been cooking a sh*tload lately. 9. What is your creative process like? Banging my head on a wall until something funny pops out. Then having a nice long cigarette, you know like the ones in old movies. 10. would you rather live in a world without boobs or sauce? That's a toughie. I like my boobs, but I love bananas foster.
