July 10, 2011 – The stars of HBO’s TRUE BLOOD were all in great moods after partying down at the show’s season 4 cast and crew wrap party in Los Angeles. Cast members signed autographs, posed for photos and talked with the handful of die hard fans that had gathered.
Though Alexander Skarsgard, Stephen Moyer, Anna Paquin, and Kristin Bauer were absent, Sam Trammell (who is always incredibly awesome!), Joe Manganiello, Deborah Ann Woll, Tara Buck, Lauren Bowles, Todd Lowe, Kevin Alejandro, newcomer Aaron Perilo, and writer/director Alan Ball were all the fans needed to quench their True Blood thirst. We also got an unexpected treat when Stevie Wonder walked out of the hotel behind us!
As usual, Rutina Wesley ignored everyone and actually went so far as to duck down in her car as it passed by us. I mean, heaven forbid the fans actually see her! This is nothing new. Her rudeness and disregard for the fans has always been in stark contrast to the attitudes of the rest of the cast, who continue to be gracious, accommodating, easy to approach and more than make up for the bad vibes dished out by Rutina. (I vote to give Rutina’s character less screentime to make room for more screentime for shirtless Eric Northman scenes…but that’s just my opinion
Aaron Perilo, who plays an old, fast, troublemaking sort of vampire named “Blackburn,” told us you’ll be able to check him out in the episode that airs July 24.
