Annette Bening, David Arquette, Julian Sands Signing Report!

Erica is spearheading this trip out on the town tonight.  I know usually I take the blame for forcing us out of the house, but tonight the blame is all on her!  She really wants to get her Room with a View laserdisc signed by Mr. Julian Sands… I know we’re talking random here… lol… Julian is in a play with none other than Ms. Annette Bening, and David Arquette.  So, with mini posters loaded up, off we go!

9:31 p.m. – We are heading down Wilshire to the theatre where Annette Bening is starring in The Female of the Species. I have my American Beauty mini poster for her and my Never Been Kissed mini poster for David Arquette.  Thankfully, I already have Drew on the Never Been Kissed poster, cause she is so hard to get.

9:34 p.m. – Erica’s sister Linda is actually watching the play right now, so we will get a play by play (get it play by play…) from her when we arrive.

9:39 p.m. – We just parked.  We are now in front of the theatre, this is the same place we got Chris Pine and the one and only Mr. Leonard Nimoy a little while back.

9:43 p.m. – There are about 6 collectors here already… man word gets around fast about these plays!

9:44 p.m. – There’s Linda. She says, “The play is good and Annette is superb!”  That’s good to hear, I just haven’t been able to catch this show yet, but I want to.

9:46 p.m. – It is a gorgeous night, one of those nights where you don’t mind hanging out…

9:48 p.m. – Oh someone coming out… It’s Julian Sands!  Erica and Linda run over and I mosey over as well.  They get him on their Room with a View laserdisc covers, and I get one for Erica and have him personalize it to Fifi.  He is very nice and signs everything put in front of him.

9:51 p.m. – And there’s David Arquette… He’s coming out and heading right for everyone.  I have my poster out, and he is more than happy to sign it.  I had him personalize it to Mike since Drew already personalized it.  I also asked him for a pic and he was like sure!  Such a nice guy!

9:56 p.m. – Annette is talking in the lobby.  Erica spotted her.  Of course Erica left her DVD insert in the car.  Doh!  I have my poster ready and she comes right over and starts signing.  She is very nice, even though it seems like she is just going through the motions.  You have to expect that though if she signs every night after the play.  I tried to get a pic but she rushed off.  Ah well… Still a great night and quite easy!  Ah, my favorite kind of event, fun and easy!
